November 16,2008 I wrestled a deer to the ground on November
16th on Route 8 South by Dworkin Chevy Dealer. A 180lb 6 Point
buck ran in front of me at apx 5:30 PM. I was Riding my 2004 Harley
Davidson Road Glide . The front end of the bike hit just
behind the front shoulder pushing the buck forward. The back of the
buck and bike broke my right leg very badly. I then fell
backwards onto my Armored Jacket and New Nolan Full Face Helmet N-102
I bought in Lacania NH at Bike week. I then slid a long time
bouncing my helmet onto the pavement and testing my safety equipment.
I slid across into the 2nd lane and then ground my Nolan
helmet /Face
shield along the new Jersey Barrier. I am Happy to say the
Armor Jacket, Chaps, Full Face Helmet , American
Made Chippewa
Boots, Harley Heated Gloves, did there job and saved my life..
Mr right leg got badly broken and only a black and blue on my left
shoulder, I also am thank full no one ran my over during the
slide.
I am the road to recovery.
